That’s my hand and knee at 0:58! I was also filming this tour and was seriously pissed off at the very sluggish approach. I had anticipated it suddenly opening up and storming into the tunnel, but no such look! 😡

Lovely shots Peter, all of them very good. Although the sun wasn't in the best place for the black fives, it lit the plumes of smoke up very well. I wasn't able to see the black fives or Union of South Africa during the week, but I was out for Union of South Africa, Saturday morning - Hayden.

Great action shots, difficult lighting conditions for the 5s but worked out well I thought, well done and thanks for sharing.

loved this, used to live by the station as a child so guess i always missed the best views as was often on the platform not on the bridge near totley tunnel

Excellent shots, I filmed the panniers on their first tour back in 2011 from the bridge at Burbage Common. The second shot was great, lovely location, sound and lighting. You must have been very pleased with that shot - Hayden.

Lovely shot Peter. I hesitated whether or not to go here, instead filming Cromwell south of Northampton near the viaduct! The colour on the video is wonderful with all the greens, yellows and browns of the leaves and foliage. Very good - Hayden.

It's called the Lanner Falcon, adapted from a piece Goff Richards wrote for the band nearly 20 years ago. Smart band on the road and worthy winners on the stand!

Only my second visit but it's a very special day with a unique atmosphere!

Thanks Hayden. Enjoyed my three visits - not too far and a bit of variety. Wood End was a good location but those ugly stairs they've built detract a bit - probably a very nice station in it's day!

Lovely compilation Peter. You certainly had better weather for your visits than what I did last year when I filmed the Shakespeare Express. The last shot of 5043 was excellent. Wood End Station is an interesting location with the tunnel at one end - Hayden.

What a prat. I can assure you that if he had said that to any professional TV news camera person (which I used to be) they would have responded somewhat robustly. But we always had the sense to stand side by side. It's not rocket science, is it?
